Japanese cuisine "UEMORI"

Seasonal Kyoto Kaiseki in the Heart of Gion.
Japanese cuisine "UEMORI" in gion, Kyoto

At Gion Uemori, we serve traditional Kyoto kaiseki crafted with the finest local ingredients.
— from simmered Kyoto vegetables to our signature yudofu and fresh yuba courses.
You can also enjoy seasonal delicacies such as hamo (pike conger) in summer and fugu in winter,
each prepared to reflect the beauty of Kyoto’s four seasons.

Our tofu is sourced from a historic artisan maker in Arashiyama,
a beloved Kyoto establishment with over 160 years of history.
Its delicate flavor and exceptional texture form the heart of many of our dishes.

When visiting Kyoto or strolling through the streets of Gion,
we invite you to stop by and experience authentic Japanese cuisine in a calm, traditional setting.
We welcome guests for sightseeing meals, business dinners, celebrations, and family gatherings.

Private tatami rooms, counter seating, and relaxed table spaces are available, and a casual lunch menu is also offered.
